What will happen?
A Serum B12 and MMA blood test requires an additional blood draw. The test measures the amount of Vitamin B 12 your blood.
Foods rich in Vitamin B12 include meat, yogurt, milk, soy mik, and cereals. If you body doesn’t have enough Vitamin B12, it will make extra amounts of MMA. MMA is found in small amounts when your body changes food into energy.

Results will be reported in MyChart. A copy of results with be shared with your Provider upon request.
